The idea of the products is great but I had a reaction to it. It was a similar reaction that I had to braiding hair. My skin and scalp were itchy and made me feel tingly. I compared it to another midst from another brand to make sure it just wasn't from the gel my stylist used. It was the midst, unfortunately.
